Three Essentials of Happiness: Children, Creativity and Music - THE GENIUS IN CHILDREN

Three Essentials of Happiness: Children, Creativity and Music

by Rick on September 6, 2013

This video has music, children, education and reminds us:
Our lives would be worthless without music, children and creativity and the future would be hopeless.

It also reminds us of three essential educational principles:

1. Children’s ability to create is limitless
2. See each human being as an asset
3. Trash is a construct of a limited human brain

Trash is a construct of a limited human brain…

That’s why my brilliant mother, preparing to make soup, once looked at a huge turkey breast bone, picked clean of meat, and said, “What can we make out if it?”

I was a wise teenager at the time and thought she was looney…but now, I have to admit that I look, even if it’s just for a split second, at everything I’m putting in the garbage and hearing my mother’s voice: What could I make out of this?
